  • What? 🤵👰: Karin and Pavel are getting married, so you can look forward to the Saturday ceremony, wedding traditions and a lot of fun.
  • When? 📅: The ceremony and celebration will be on Saturday 17/8/2024 after 13:00, but you can come already on Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday morning.
  • Where? 📍: In Mlýn Mitrovica, near the well-known village of Sedlec-Prčice. More info in contacts
  • Accommodation 🛌: We provide accommodation for guests according to demand and we try to accommodate (we have found accommodation for everyone who will be staying overnight).
  • Food? 🥣: We have prepared a wedding offer for wedding guests, from which they can choose according to their will.
  • Red dance 💃🤑: For dancing with the bride, money is contributed to the newlyweds, usually a banknote according to your estimate (Slovak wedding custom).
  • Cash ⚠️💸: There is a restaurant on site and apart from the wedding menu, you can buy anything else from the restaurant's menu with your own money. Unfortunately, it is only possible to pay in cash in crowns.
  • Friday dinner 🌇: if you are interested in dinner on Friday evening, you can buy it on the spot in the restaurant (for cash).
  • Wedding offer 🥣: within the wedding offer you will get breakfast, lunch, buffet and besides that also soft drinks (of course not only lemonades, tea and coffee), beer, wine, bubbly, spirits.

We are very much looking forward to you being a part of our wedding day. We offer some organizational information and requests.

Our wedding

Dear wedding guests from far and wide,
our special day has now arrived.
We wished so much to have you here,
to start our journey full of cheer.

Bringing gifts, a task that's tough,
carrying bags is quite enough.
A simple envelope, if you choose,
we'll appreciate, no need to refuse.

In Slovakia, it is tradition fair,
to dance the Redovy with love and care.
Before midnight, feast and cheer,
then dance till dawn, with joy sincere.
After midnight, as customs say,
the Redovy dance will come your way.
Our bride will be in her wedding cap,
with coins in pocket, take a lap.
She's ready for the dance, no pause,
earn your treat and give applause.

Wedding gifts

We will be happy for any donation, but most of all we will be happy if you send us both crowns and euros to our account during the wedding. Of course, some pennies for a red dance in the box will be very happy.

Dress code 👗🤵

We would like to ask you to avoid wearing pink shades as our bridesmaids will be wearing "old pink" dresses. Unless you would like to join the bridesmaids. 😊

Restriction of movement: 👣

On Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we would appreciate it if you could avoid the area near the ponds. At this time, these spaces are reserved for "artistic photography".

⚠️ Unusuall custom - redovy dance: 💃🤑

We would like to introduce you to this interesting tradition. During this dance, you will have the opportunity to dance with the most beautiful bride and as a gift, make a financial contribution to the treasury. Everyone who participates gets a tasty sweet treat. We respect all customs, but bride kidnapping or shoe rituals are no longer IN.

We want to have as many beautiful memories as possible on our big day. That is why we have prepared a QR code for a shared photo album where you can upload authentic photos and videos from the wedding. We will be very grateful if you help us to capture all these moments.

Internet connection: 🌐

For your convenience, we have also prepared a QR code with Wi-Fi connection data. We believe that it will make your stay at our wedding more pleasant.

Food intolerance: 🍲

Please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerances or allergies. We strive to make you all feel comfortable.

Breakfast: 🍵

We have also provided breakfast for you, it will be served on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. On Sunday, there will be breakfast from what is left over from the celebrations. Of course, since there is a restaurant, you can also order a coffee in the morning.
